The Agony of Restless Nights

Restlessness can ensnare you like a vice during the night. Every noise becomes amplified, every shadow takes on an ominous form. Living With A Mind That Won't Quiet

We long for an/a/some escape, a place/safety/shelter where the pain/suffering/anguish can fade/disappear/evaporate, but often/always/sometimes the darkness persists/holds tight/remains. It's in these website moments of isolation that we must find/create/forge our own/internal/personal light/strength/will. We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the powerful spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

The Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia can be a crushing weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, fighting for sleep that just seems out of reach. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity ridden anxieties and disappointment. This pervasive state of wakefulness transforms you into a prisoner within the darkness.

Aching for Sweet Oblivion

The clutch of oblivion was a siren's call, a searing promise of rest. To fade in its shadows was to still the incessant noise of existence. The life's sharp edges blurred under the lure of its peace.

To truly crave oblivion was to ache for a passing respite from the cruelty of being.
